I grew up as an American girl in Japan. By the time I was 18 I had traveled the United States for over two years of my life, moved cities in Japan four times, taken trips to Canada, and spent one month in South Korea. I had even gone to Mexico--but unfortunately, I don't remember it. (Toddler-age problems!) I thrive on traveling, and I am determined to go to as many places as I possibly could in my lifetime. Being in other cultures, getting to step out of my comfort zone, and having countless adventures not only helped me grow as a person but gave me the desire to learn and experience everything I could while I had the chance.
